Matthew 28:18-20
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the greatest and formost commandment... and a second one is like it, "Love your neighbor as yourself. Upon these two commenents hang the whole law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:36-41

Venturing downtown to worship our Maker, ministering to God and God alone in the public square, is enough reason to come out every week. Loving people downtown in relational, practical, culturally relevant, and spiritually powerful ways puts our Love for God into action as real human beings. Extending that Love into the place of discipleship with those who hunger to discover the ways of God destroys strongholds in the minds and hearts of the culture sweeping America's cities. It's time to advance, not retreat.
